pubblicato nella Gazzetta Ufficiale n. 283 del 3 dicembre 2008 - Suppl. Ordinario n. 268

Under this Italian law Cremona Tools is classified as a distributor of batteries and accumulators or equipment containing batteries and accumulators, and we are obliged to provide the following information: You are not allowed to dispose of batteries and/or accumulators in the normal household waste. You are required by law to return used batteries and/or accumulators. Waste batteries and/or accumulators may contain hazardous substances that can potentially cause serious harm to the environment and your health if not stored and disposed of properly. Batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled. After use, you can either send the batteries back to us or return them in your neighborhood (e.g. in stores or at community collection points) free of charge. Returning batteries in stores is limited to common household quantities and such used batteries, which the store sells as new batteries, or which the store used to sell in the past.

Below this symbol, the following chemical symbols will additionally be printed:
Pb: The battery and/or accumulator contains lead.
Cd: The battery and/or accumulator contains cadmium.
Hg: The battery and/or accumulator contains mercury.
