Rathany roots 100 grams

The botanical name of ratania is Krameria triandra. Native to South America, it is found mainly at high altitudes, between 1000 and 2500 meters, in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile and Brazil. It belongs to the Krameriaceae family.
Ratanhia extracts can be used to obtain beautiful shades of red, which roughly correspond to a mixture of madder and orcein (Roccella tinctoria).
