Description / Endpin Reamer Cello, Straight Edges 1/17
Precision tools for reaming peg holes, buttons, and endpins on stringed instruments. The reamer blades are made of high-speed steel (HSS) hardened to 62 HRC to ensure long-lasting sharpness.
Straight Cutting Edges
The three-edged straight cutting edges are particularly sharp and ensure perfectly circular holes. Wood handles.
Spiral Cutting Edges
The spiral design allows you to cut the wood grain at a sufficient angle to eliminate judder, producing perfectly circular holes. Particularly suitable for working on antique instruments, which typically have more sensitive peg boxes and very hard medullary rays. Wood handles.
TIN-Coating
The Titanium Nitride (TIN) coating triples the life of the cutting edge, protects it from corrosion, and reduces friction during use. Its smoother, more fluid cutting action also reduces strain and stress on the reamer. The TIN coating does not affect the sharpness of the reamer's cutting edge.Wood handles.
