These special LEDs illuminate the inside of a violin much more evenly, do not heat up and last for years. With LEDs, battery life is 7-10 times longer than conventional bulbs.
The other big improvement is the battery holder with an on/off switch, so you don't have to disconnect the battery every time like on the old model.
