Ryoba Gisuké 240 mm, Saw blade of SK85 Japanese steel, One side for Cross & Angle cut 16TPI Other side for RIP cut with 7TPI / 10TPI. Perfect budget Ryoba saw for Fine cutting Blade thickness 0.70 mm Kerf 0.90 mm. (No replacement blades available).
On this Gisuké Ryoba 240 mm you have on the RIP side a tooth setting that starts, at the handle side, with 10TPI. This allows a easy beginning for RIP cutting. Further on the blade it is 7TPI that allows a more faster RIP cutting on bigger pieces wood. It's a more progressive tooth setting on the better quality Ryoba saws. On small pieces of wood you only use the smaller 10TPI teeth because you only use a small part of the blade. On bigger pieces of wood you use the whole saw blade and it gives you a easy and faster RIP cutting because you will use the larger teeth. It works smooth and easy for RIP cutting.
