Oil for Ebony aims to protect the fingerboardโs ebony wood. It contains high-quality natural oils that penetrate deeply into the wood, providing long-lasting hydration that protects and prolongs the pieceโs life. Additionally, it enhances the woodโs natural beauty and prevents it from drying out and cracking.
It is perfect for protecting and enhancing the appearance of high-quality ebony parts and previously stained pieces. It contributes to better protection and colour durability.
We highly recommend testing the oil on a small, inconspicuous area of the fingerboard to ensure it does not cause any adverse reactions.

Application Guidelines
These are short, general indications. For more detailed instructions, please download the Technical Data Sheet available for this product.
- Completely clean the fingerboard to remove any dirt, oil, or residue. Use a clean cloth to apply the oil. Soak the cloth with a small amount of product and spread it lengthwise across the entire piece. Apply a thin layer and remove any excess product with a soft cloth to avoid buildup.
- It dries in a few hours. If you want a second coat, wait until the next day to ensure the first application is completely dry and repeat the process. Caution: The OW Oil for Ebony must not come into contact with the varnish. It may damage the surface of the instrument.
- If the ebony piece to be treated has been previously stained, OW Oil for Ebony can be applied to ensure proper colour durability and good condition. Apply once or twice, with a 24-hour interval. This will protect the colour and the wood.
