A real bargain, I own other tools from this brand and in my opinion they are the best value for the money that you can get at the moment. A quality plane with flat and finely polished sides and sole. The 3 mm plane blade is made out of hardened steel, the only thing one has to do with this plane is some final honing on a real fine stone and it is ready for use. One can achieve the finest of shavings with this plane and blades with different angles are available. A nice feature is the adjustable opening at the front of the sole which can be handled by a turn of the front knob. Besides the quality of these tools, they look classy too with the brass and rosewood parts.
