Great gauge out of brass, stainless steel and rosewood with metric scale. The cutting wheel can be retracted in the fence and the large brass knob prevents the tool from falling off your workbench. It has a fine adjusment function which can be handled by turning the brass ring at the back. It can be used as a depth gauge too and spare cutting wheels are available as well as a mortice attachment with 1 mm brass spacers to mark dual guage lines. Anyone should own one of these.
