We offer three sizes of knife blades suggested by the late master violin maker Hans Weisshaar.
Useful for scribing, carving and whittling, these knives are bevelled on both sides and are unhandled.

High-carbon steel (O1), hardened to Rc62.

- The 19mm knife has a thickness of 2.5mm, has a 25° tip and is bevelled at 25°.
- The 12mm knife has a thickness of 2.5mm, has a 25° tip and is bevelled at 20°.
- The 6mm knife has a thickness of 2.5mm, has a 10° tip and is bevelled at 35°.
- They are all approximately 18cm long.
- The 3/4" wide knife is 3/32" thick, has a 25° tip and is bevelled at 25°.
- The 1/2" knife is 1/16" thick, has a 25° tip and is bevelled at 20°.
- The 1/4" knife is 1/16" thick, has a 10° tip and is bevelled at 35°.
- All are 7" long.
