Casein Binding Medium
borax-casein, according to a recipe by Wehlte.
Wehlte recommended saponification of casein with borax. This means that the fungicide is already contained in the casein binder. Undiluted, this mixture can be used as a base for casein tempera; as a binder for painting wood or canvas, it should be diluted with 3 parts water.
As separating sealer for violins we recommend dilute with water 1:8
Shelf life: 9 months after production.
