The Narex 8105 series chisels have some features that differentiate them from other general purpose chisels in this price range. Made in the Czech Republic, they are CNC machined, well balanced, isothermically hardened and give a pleasant sensation during use. The sides of the chisel are not very thick and as general purpose tools these Narex chisels are in our opinion the best in their price range. Narex forges the blades with manganese chromium spring steel, far superior to chromium vanadium, and in use it is no different from good quality carbon steel. Isothermal hardening is much more accurate than even induction hardening, producing a uniform and constant hardness of RC59.
The handles are in stained beech, with chromed steel ferrules.
