Splex Deluxe Japanese waterstone, 800 grit

This Japanese Suehiro "Splex" Waterstone - 800 Grit is for sharpening carving tools, knives, planes, kitchen knives, etc. This coarser grit waterstone is best for the first round of sharpening, then moving to finer grit waterstones afterwards. See below for the "Splex" 1200 grit together with other waterstones. Use water only for lubrication.
