Splex Deluxe Japanese waterstone, 1200 grit

This Japanese Suehiro "Splex" Waterstone - 1200 Grit is for sharpening carving tools, knives, planes, & kitchen knives, etc. This medium grit waterstone is good for after the first rounds of sharpening on different coarser grit stones, then it is best to move to a finer grit waterstone afterwards. See below for the coarser "Splex" 800 grit waterstone and others. Use water only for lubrication.
