Walnut stain is derived from natural materials, from peat extracted in the Cologne and Kassel area (also known as Kassel earth) and is used for the natural staining of wood and with an airbrush for the artificial "craquelé" technique. It comes in the form of crystals and dissolves in warm water. Stable in light.

Il prodotto va sciolto in acqua tiepida fino alla concentrazione desiderata, noi consigliamo 40 gr. per litro di acqua. Carteggiare prima la superficie di legno con carta vetrata fine, pulire dalla polvere e quindi procedere stendendo la soluzione con un pennello seguendo la fibra del legno. Passare una spugna umida per uniformare il colore e levare gli eccessi.
Una volta asciutto il legno può essere trattato con vernici, gommalacca o cera.
