Doratura Liquida
An air-drying transparent ground that imparts an intense golden-yellow colour. It enhances the wood grain from within, providing luminosity and depth.
Doratura Liquida provides a beautiful golden effect of depth and luminosity from within the wood, varying with incident light. It is suitable for oil or alcohol varnishing.
Before use, it is recommended to test on pieces or parts of wood like those of the instrument to be treated to predict the colour tone that can be achieved in each case.

Application Guidelines
These are short, general indications. For more detailed instructions, please download the Technical Data Sheet available for this product.
- Doratura Liquida is applied easily with a brush and should be spread well to facilitate uniform penetration into the wood pores.
- A single coat is usually enough, but two coats can be applied if desired, ensuring complete drying after each coat.
- Important warning: It should never be applied over an oil-based background or varnish, as it may remove or soften the film.
- If the varnishing process is alcohol based, once it has dried completely, it is recommended to apply a base for this specific alcohol varnishing, such Base Chiara Liquida.
- If the varnishing process is oil based, once it has dried completely, it is recommended to apply one or two coats of Refractive Ground or diluted clear varnish to promote penetration. Sand before varnishing.
- After applying the ground, allow it to air dry for at least 8 hours. Ensure it is completely dried to the touch before using any other product.

- As it is not an alcohol-based product, the drying time is longer and therefore it is easily applied with a brush.

Security
Under Regulation No. 1272/2008 (CLP), the product is not classified as hazardous.
The product is non-flammable under regular storage, handling, and use conditions. It is also not classified as hazardous to the environment. Keep the product away from drain surfaces and groundwater.
Storage
Keep the container tightly closed in a cool place and avoid direct light exposure. Also, avoid heat sources, radiation, static electricity, and contact with food. Under these conditions, the product remains stable for more than two years.
