Base Chiara Liquida is an air-drying transparent colourless ground that enhances the wood grain from within, providing luminosity and depth.
This ground is formulated with shellac and has been developed following traditional formulas, incorporating new solvent mediums to minimise potential risks to the safety and health of users. It is manufactured using high-quality raw materials.
Base Chiara Liquida provides a beautiful effect of depth and luminosity that emanates from within the wood, varying with incident light. It is suitable for use with oil or alcohol-based varnishes.

Returns: you have 10 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. Upon delivery, always check the packaging integrity and, if damaged, write "accepted with reservation" on the courier's delivery note.

Application Guidelines
These are short, general indications. For more detailed instructions, please download the Technical Data Sheet available for this product.
- Base Chiara Liquida is a ready-to-use product, so it should not be diluted.
- One or two coats can be applied if desired, ensuring complete drying after each coat.
- Important warning: It should never be applied over an oil-based background or varnish, as it may remove or soften the film.
- If the varnishing process is alcohol based, you can continue with your regular method to fill the pores before applying the varnish.
- If the varnishing process is oil based, once it has dried completely, it is recommended to apply one or two coats of Refractive Ground or diluted clear varnish to promote penetration. Sand before varnishing.
- After applying the ground, allow it to air dry for at least 8-10 hours.
- Ensure it is completely dry to the touch before applying any other product.
Security
Under Regulation No. 1272/2008 (CLP), the product is not classified as hazardous.
The product is non-flammable under regular storage, handling, and use conditions. It is also not classified as hazardous to the environment. Keep the product away from drain surfaces and groundwater.
Storage
Keep the container tightly closed in a cool place and avoid direct light exposure. Also, avoid heat sources, radiation, static electricity, and contact with food. Under these conditions, the product remains stable for more than two years.
